Robert A. Morey, Ph.D.
Dr. Robert A. Morey is the author of over 40 books
some of which have been translated into French, German, Italian, Dutch,
Danish, Swedish, Spanish, Arabic, Parsi, Polish, and Finnish. He is listed
in The International Authors and Writers Who's Who and Contemporary Authors.
He earned a
B.A. in philosophy from Covenant College, a M.Div. in theology from
Westminster Seminary, a D.Min. in apologetics from Westminster Seminary, and
received a D.D. in Islamic Studies from Faith Theological Seminary for his
groundbreaking research on the pre-Islamic origins of Islam.
Some of his
books have been nominated for "Book of the Year," and have been included in
the annual "Best of the Good Books." They are textbooks in many colleges and
seminaries around the world.
He was
elected chairman of the membership committee of the Evangelical Theological
Society for several years and currently serves as adjunct faculty there. Dr.
Morey is recognized internationally as a professional philosopher and
theologian whose careful scholarship and apologetic abilities establish
him as one of Christianity's top defenders. He is also adjunct professor of
apologetics at Evangelical Theological Seminary.
He has
studied and worked with Walter Martin, Francis Schaeffer, Gleason Archer,
Cornelius Van Til, Gordon Clark, John Ankerberg, Tal Brook, D. James
Kennedy, and many other Evangelical leaders.
Dr. Morey
crafted the base translation of Psalms 1-65 and Psalm 91 for the Holy Bible:
International Standard Version.
