All emails received become the property of The ISV Foundation and may be posted at any time along with our response. By registering with us, by sending e-mail to us, or by using the service, you agree that we may use and disclose as we see fit and consistent with applicable law (including posting your e-mail(s) and our response) any information you provide or that we obtain concerning your use of the service, subject to the terms set forth below and in our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any material you find on our service, we suggest that you respond by noting your disagreement in an appropriate discussion. We invite you to bring to our attention any material you believe to be inaccurate. Please contact us with your explanation of your objection.

Sending Comments to Us

If you would like to send an e-mail comment or suggestion about this site, please use the Contact webform. Posting a message to a chat room, bulletin board or other general user forum is not a good way to communicate directly with us. Note that all emails are subject to being posted with or without your permission. If you don’t want to have your comments posted for all the world to see, don’t send us any correspondence by email or otherwise.

Chat Rooms and Forums

We encourage an open exchange of information and ideas. But we cannot and do not review every posting made in the chat rooms, forums, and other public posting areas. You may well read any given posting before anyone on our staff does. Take what you find with a grain of salt. You can expect these areas to include information and opinions from a variety of individuals and organizations other than ours. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any posting, regardless of whether the posting comes from a user or from a scholar or other “expert” who may or may not be fully informed about us. There is no substitute for healthy skepticism and your own good judgment

Responsibility for what is posted in the chat rooms, forums, and other public posting areas on our web sites lies with each user—you alone are responsible for material you post. By using our web sites you agree not to post or transmit any defamatory, abusive, obscene, threatening or illegal material, or any other material that infringes on the ability of others to enjoy our web sites or that infringes on the rights of others. We retain the right to deny access to anyone who we believe has violated these terms or any other term of this agreement.

Although we cannot monitor all the postings in the chat rooms, forums, and other public areas, we reserve the right (but assume no obligation) to delete, move, or edit any postings that come to our attention that we consider unacceptable or inappropriate, whether for legal or other reasons. We will not, in the ordinary course of business, review private electronic messages that are not addressed to us. However, we will comply with the requirements of the law regarding disclosure of such messages to others, including law enforcement agencies.

Solicitations and Submissions

We expect that you will not use the service to violate anyone’s rights in copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property. By submitting material to us, you are representing that you are the owner of the material, or are making your submission with the explicit consent of the owner. Submitting material that is the property of another without the specific consent of its owner, is not only a violation of this agreement, but may also subject you to legal liability for infringement of copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

No soliciting

You agree not to use any area of our web sites to advertise or to solicit anyone to buy or sell products or services, or to make donations of any kind, without our express written approval.

Submission of Materials

By submitting material to us you are permanently granting us all rights to the material, including the right to modify the material, to use it commercially, and to maintain the material in an archive.
